Tax Rules define how taxes are applied to products on financial documents. In the product view, one of the available tax rules can be selected to determine the applicable tax rate. By default, a single rule named “Regelsteuersatz (Umsatzsteuer)” is provided, but additional tax rules can be created as needed.
Step-by-Step Guide to Adding New Tax Rules #
- Open the Finblick App:
- In the Salesforce search bar (top left), type Finblick and select the Finblick App.
- Go to the Tax Rules tab:
- Open the Tax Rules tab within the Finblick App.
- Create a New Tax Rule:
- Click on New.
- Enter a Name for the Tax Rule and specify the desired Tax Percentage.
- Assign a Tax Rule in a Quote:
- Open any Quote record.
- Click the small pencil icon in the top-right corner of the Product Line Editor to edit the line items.
- Select the appropriate Tax Rule for each item.
- Save the changes.
